The way you are teaching your dog needs to be consistent. Everyone involved with the dog should use the exact same commands. Dont confuse them! Look at it from your dog's point of view. Sooooo

o every doggy action should have a word which you say when dog does the action. i.e. Dog walks away - you say 'away', every time. Dog sits down - you say 'sit', every time. The dog will associate the word with the action he is automatically doing. Eventually you will say the word and the dog will do the action for you. CONSISTENCY =

  • Makes it easier for your dog to learn

  • Dog responds when it matters

  • Its less stressful for you both

  • Dog learns in less time

  • Behaviour to be proud of
